About FL Biognostics

FL Biognostics has a team of biology and chemistry researchers with more than 20 years of biology and chemistry experience.

Our scientists and technicians have developed hundreds of custom genetic tests for clients around the globe. Combined with our state-of-the-art instruments FL Biognostics is enabled to provide a novel and unique approach to the winemaking process.

Our scientific director, Dr. Brian Caplin has two patents for genetic testing: One for specialized organism detection chemistries and one for improved quantification of genetic material in samples. Dr. Caplin has five additional patents pending which enable our sample testing methods to be faster, and with lower error rates than in conventional biochemistry laboratories.
